BETTERTON- The Jewel of the Chesapeake
Betterton is 5 miles from camp and about a 12-minute drive. You can eat at Marzella’s By the Bay, which is one of our favorite restaurants in Kent County. There is a public beach in Betterton too! Stay at the Cottage by the Chesapeake, run by EHC Alumni!
WORTON
"Downtown" Worton is 7 miles from camp, and about a 15-minute drive on the way to Chestertown. The biggest thing happening in Worton, besides EHC, is the Dollar General! It's an easy stop for supplies. Stop by Lockbriar Farms for a wide variety of local produce, flowers, homemade ice cream, the chickens, and U-Pick! Red Acres Hydroponics Farm stand is another yummy option for local produce.

Galena is 15 miles and 25 driving minutes away. Galena has a couple of restaurants and a great Country store and a few B&B’s. Must stops: The Fish Whistle. Eat and stay at the Kitty Knight House. Shop at the Cross Street Market. Enjoy comfort food at Twinnys followed by dessert at Twinnys With a Twist!
GREAT OAK
Great oak is on beautiful Fairlee Creek and is a popular destination with a full service marina, a couple of places to eat, a golf course and 2 places to stay. It’s 14 miles away and about a 25 minute drive. Search Great Oak Manor & Great Oak Marina.
TOLCHESTER
An EHC alumni owns & runs The Inn at Mitchell House which is located in Tolchester on the way to Rock Hall. It’s 18 miles away and about a 30 minute drive. Tolchester Beach has a full service marina and a very fun waterfront destination, The Shanty.
ROCK HALL - The Pearl of the Chesapeake
Rock Hall is 20 miles away and about a 30-minute drive. This popular waterfront town is located on the Chesapeake Bay and has a variety of restaurants and lodging. An EHC family lovingly owns & runs Haven Harbour Marina Resorts!
