Daily Schedule

Our daily schedule offers a broad range of activities and is organized on a free-choice basis. Instruction for all activities includes that for beginners through experts, and campers are encouraged to try everything. Our program is flexible and is designed to match the natural, free and non-competitive atmosphere at Echo Hill.

Typical Day

Campers will be able to choose as many as five activities throughout a typical day at Echo Hill. The campers are not locked in to any one activity at any time since we operate on the free-choice theory.

Here’s how it works:

The staff let the campers know all the activity choices after the meals in an announcement style setting, which can be quite entertaining! We help the children decide what to do and encourage them to try new things. They can choose up to 3 activities for the morning and 2 for the afternoon.

And…in case you were wondering… choosing “nothing” is NOT an option!

After dinner we always have an “Evening Activity.” These evening programs are quite varied and could include such activities as ice cream socials, Halloween, Build-A-Boat, carnivals, dances, game shows, sandcastle contests, talent shows, movies, tent night, Lip-Sync contests, movies, bowling, live bands and much more!
